Description of the activities

Rudrabishekam
Every monday morning in the Old temple 07.30 – 9:30 (the old temple stays then open till 11:00) This ritual, also called Lingam pooja, is performed by chanting the Mantra “Om Namah Shivaya”. During this singing and chanting Swamiji performes the cleansing ritual (Abhishekam) over the lingam (this lingam is materialised by Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba). The abhishekam is followed by bhajans. After the bhajans Swamiji gives spiritual guidance and help to those who seek His advice.

Bhajans, singing of devotional songs
every Thursday evening 18.30-20.30 Bhajans are held in the Mandir in the presence of Swami Gopala Krishna and are followed by a procession through the neighbourhood.

Providing health care
In the Sai Dispensary opposite the Mandir medical care is given free from costs including the distribution of medicines.

Organisation of festivals
Assistance with the organisation of main festivals like the birthday of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba, and Gurupoornima.

Sharing of clothes
Regularly clothes are shared to the needy in the poor area of Bangalore.

Feeding of animals
Regularly animals are given food in the animal shelter of Bangalore.

Swamiji gives support , in whatever form they need it, to the poor.

arathi is offered at 11.30hrs
closes at 1200 noon,
opens at 17.00hrs
arathi at 18.15hrs,
night arathi at 19.30hrs
closes at 20.00hrs.

Sai Dispensary

opens at 8.30hrs closes at 12.00 noon ,
opens again at 16.30 hrs and closes at 20.00hrs.
